Sanchez signs with JUCO

MISSION -- Sharyland's Alyssa Sanchez signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Navarro Junior College in Corsicana, Tex.

Sanchez, an All-Valley outside hitter for the Lady Rattlers, helped lead Sharyland to the regional semifinals. She compiled 175 kills and 375 digs during her senior season.

Sanchez is the daughter of Sharyland football coach Fred Sanchez and her brother, Mike Sanchez, is a member of the University of Houston football team.
